Our school has a wonderful community culture, and third graders learn to care for their classroom, classmates, and school. They are quick to help when a classmate spills his or her crayons, quick to volunteer to help when someone needs a band-aid, and quick to cheer up a friend feeling sad. They are willing to befriend anyone and happily help their classmates who have special needs.
