My students are preschoolers who like to play. They often choose to play on the floor and currently we have only tile in our play space. I put down a mat to play on for my students with physical challenges so they can be comfortable but all of the students want comfort and there just is not enough room for everyone on the mat! We don't let disabilities stop us from of having fun! We spend much of our learning time in play as this is the best way to learn for every child! Floor play is important and more fun when it is comfortable for everyone. A carpet will help make our floor time play comfortable!
