The presenter, Sterlen Barr, and his company will offer an engaging program that will allow students to interact. They will provide their own stage and sound equipment. Elements of theater and rap music will be combined to teach students about the rewards of positive choices and the consequences of poor decisions. The children will have the rare opportunity to be included in certain parts of the show as they role play. The performers are exceptionally talented and are able to captivate diverse learners. This program addresses cyber-bullying, teasing, harassment, roughhouse playing, self-esteem and relationship building. The children will learn how to effectively avoid being victims and perpetrators of bullying by using new strategies taught by Sterlen Barr and Rapping About Prevention. We are looking forward to giving our students this amazing opportunity to enhance their school community as they improve their self-esteem and build positive relationships.
