My students are awesome! We have a diverse classroom which encompasses different backgrounds and socio-economic status. These students come to school and work hard everyday. Their hunger for knowledge and the desire to grow as students never ceases to amaze me! I want to be able to provide them with as much comfort and stability as I can during the hours that I see them. At our school, about 40% of our students receive free and reduced lunch, and 42 families are currently benefitting from the Backpack Buddy program which provides students extra food for weekend meals at home.
