I have a very diverse classroom full of varying levels of abilities. I teach in a classroom where students come to school each day with their own stressors, worries and home anxieties. I teach in a classroom where a lot of my students come from adverse childhood experiences that negatively affects their behavior and academics. I want to be able to provide my students with the learning environment necessary where they feel safe, loved and valued.
