As a Shelter English Immersion teacher, it is difficult to provide my students with enough leveled books at their appropriate reading level. Students in my classroom are inquisitive, compassionate, and creative. As English language learners, books are so important to my students and are truly valued. Their reading levels vary greatly, from first grade all the way up to fourth grade. It is my goal to provide them with new, relevant books that spark their love for reading. It is my hope, that with a new library, as well as mailbox’s that help them to access materials, and a new table for small group work, I can give my students the learning environment and resources they truly deserve! I pour my heart and soul into my students and my classroom! Thanks for visiting!
