I teach almost all levels of secondary STEM including Earth Science, Computer Technology, Biology, and AP Biology. This includes sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, eleventh, and twelfth grade students who are all low-income, title 1, diverse, first-generation college bound students. Our school has a fantastic acceptance rate over 90% into 4-year universities. We are a 6-12 public charter school in Southern California. Every year, my students are thrilled to learn science and love being at school. They are highly motivated and determined to be successful so they can give back to their home communities and their families after college. Many of the students become deeply interested in science and go on to take science and engineering majors in college.
