I am finding that most of my students do not have access to all the materials they need to be able to do the science activities that I am assigning. Doing science requires materials to manipulate and try. These materials will allow students to do science activities and experiments at home that they wouldn't otherwise be able to do since they wouldn't have access to these items. Some science items are specific and not readily accessible to individual families. I also need to be funded in postage to be able to mail packets to all the families.
