My students are economically challenged. They tend to appreciate anything that is offered to them. The teachers and staff work very hard to increase school wide academic performance. The teachers are great role models for the students and it inspires them to do better in school even if their parents are not able to help them due to language or literacy limitations. These students deserve an equal fighting chance in equitable education.
