I want to make my math classroom a fun and inviting place for my students to learn and play with math. The math manipulative materials, like the equation tiles, factor triangles, and fraction multipliers, will help students develop concrete understanding of the math concepts they are learning and using in 6th grade. Activities and games, like the learning wrap-ups, give students fun opportunities to practice math skills. Classroom materials like the dry erase pockets and markers elevate basic practice to a fun level and make mundane tasks more exciting. The fluorescent light covers create a calm and inviting atmosphere for my anxious learners.
