The wonderfully diverse and creative students of my classroom are from every corner of my hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Our public school has a performing arts focus and produces some extraordinary results. Every student has the opportunity to participate in arts classes before, during, and after school. Classes cover a wide range of arts and include 3D sculpture, video game design, computer aided design, drama, band, dance, and much, much more. The student body consists of many cultures and races. We have a growing English learning population and a waiting list. Unfortunately, too many of our students come from homes that are struggling to make ends meet. Even with the dedication of many wonderful teachers, our students seem to need more and more to enrich their lives.
