My students need basic school supplies that we often assume students would normally have. Most of my students come from families that are unable to provide meals and housing to their child daily, much less school supplies. The supplies that I have listed will give students a chance to do hands on activities to help them be academically successful. Binders and sheet protectors will allow for the students to learn organization skills when writing notes and receiving worksheets. Pencils, post it notes, and dry erase markers will allow the students to complete their work. This will allow the students time away from worksheets and workbooks, to use critical thinking skills when mastering a topic. My students in Milwaukee, WI would be extremely grateful for any assistance in making their year a successful one!
