Last year I applied to a program from FSU & FCR-STEM and qualified to receive a 3-D printer (on loan) to create instructional Biology models and lessons for my students, and to share with the State of Florida teachers from cpalms.org. We received the printer early in September (2017) and the students quickly went to work, but filament needed is expensive and this project would help them get the required materials to create models we can use in class to help them learn. This is especially helpful to struggling learners because it will provide concrete models in an expensive form.

About my class
