These supplies will be used throughout the semester by about 300 students. Each student will be able to have their own watercolor set, water cup and paint brush to develop their skills within the media of watercolor. To start off the year students will be asked to create a poster that shares "One Good Thing" they are grateful for. I will be stringing the posters up around school to try and create a powerful message of gratitude and hope! The next 3 projects will also use these materials. We will advancing our cultural knowledge with a project related to the holiday of Dia De Los Muertos. Working on our skills of layering color in a animal drawing as well as excelling our knowledge of creating depth in a landscape painting inspired by a contemporary artist.
