We are a school in rural Oklahoma. The best thing about my students is their creativity! Our makerspace is a wonderful collision of high and low tech that allows my high school students to express themselves with a freedom many haven't experienced since elementary. I love it when a student takes something I've taught them and it drives them to learn more on their own. It's even better when they are able to put together several skills, extending my teaching in new ways and then run to show me what they've done. Sometimes they teach me. My favorite, however, is watching them teach each other.
