My students are talented in many areas even though they have learning difficulties and are in a Special Education classroom for most of the school day. They love to use the arts and technology to make the educational gains expected of them and of their general education peers. They look forward to using the “Kids WordPerfect” computer program to help them create wonderful writing assignments. They add narration and conversations to their writing assignments as well as clip art, photos, and borders. This makes writing fun! The students who have difficulty with pencil control can type their stories and print them out and display them on the walls as well as take them home to share with their proud parents.
