My classroom is self-contained with the majority of their academic day spent in one space. The area within the classroom is not expansive so the students don't have the space to safely socially distance themselves. They are having problems keeping their face masks on for extended periods of time. Because much of our learning is verbal, it is vital for my students to see me, as well as being able to see each other. Giving each student a plexiglass sneeze guard desk shield will make this year physically safe as well as academically successful!
