My project is a two-fold venture: First the students I provide Speech Therapy for are in dire need of Language Development materials. Many of them are below their given grade reading levels. I am requesting dictionaries and vocabulary building literature to increase their Language and Literacy Skills as well as assist in developing a lifelong love for reading. The second part of my project to provide technology via the usage of Amazon Fire Tablets. Many of my students were directly affected by Hurricanes Florence and Matthew and their families have lost everything in their aftermaths. Christmas may not be possible this year for many of my students as their parents must recover and replace lost necessities. I have three students who only want a Tablet for Christmas. Please make my Impossible Mission Possible!
