My students are 5th grade inquirers who are intrigued by hands-on learning. They are open-minded and responsible students with a desire to learn as much as possible. My students understand the importance and value of a great education. They take pride in receiving academic honors, awards, and recognition for their hard work. They truly appreciate coming to school and the opportunity to engage in the learning process. Our school fosters an environment where students can become conceptual and global learners. We also promote bring your own device. Our school community understands students are more engaged when the teachers use technology, cooperative learning groups, and hands-on activities. We encourage our students to investigate, become risk-takers, and reflect on their learning abilities.
