This project will ensure that the environment that our students are learning in and staff is hard at work teaching in is safe, secure and organized. With an open campus, we may need to locate students and/or staff at any given moment and two-way radios will give staff the ability to quickly communicate this information. Our Administration and Support Staff are also always moving throughout the buildings and having the radios will ensure that designated staff members can be reached when they are away from an area with a phone. Also, our school regularly practices fire drills, lockdowns, and other safety drills with students and staff; having a way to communicate instantly will ensure how efficient and effective these drills are conducted.
