I teach multiple classes each day at a title one school where over 90 percent of students are on free or reduced lunch. Together we talk about how important it is to work hard and where that will lead us. My students consistently ensure that they complete each task to their best ability and make use of every minute that they are in the classroom. My students have found a way to push through and really hone in on the skills necessary to grow personally and academically. One of my responsibilities as their teacher is to ensure that they are feeling safe and comfortable at all times. This includes accommodations and equipment to support this responsibility.
