I have been a School Library Media Specialist for 28 years and still love what I do. Life in the school library has changed alot since I first started, but it has been exciting to say the least. With the MakerSpace, and STEAM initiatives blossoming in education, I have realized that the Media Center becomes a perfect place to integrate hands on learning with print resources and new, emerging technologies with our students. Our growing Media MakerSpace, literature based design activities and hands-on information skills units have been generating a lot of enthusiasm with everyone - including me!
