We call our classroom Patriot Stadium. The basketball theme encourages teamwork among classmates. Twenty-eight 5th graders come to our classroom each day with smiles on their faces, ready to learn! On the first day of school we made commitments to fulfill our school motto-to have Patriot Pride. These 10-11 year-olds are positive, respectful, independent, dedicated, and engaged in their learning. So far this year we have earned an award for being the most engaged class and also the most positive class. If you visit my classroom you will notice that we respect adults and push ourselves to learn everything we can.
