I teach General Music to 6th & 7th Grade students as well as 6th, 7th & 8th Grade Chorus and 6th through 12th Grade Steel Band. I am a huge fan of utilizing technology for composing in music class. I think it opens up a world of opportunities and resources that allows students to get their musical ideas out to the world in the short amount of time that I have them in class. My Chorus and Steel Bands spend a lot of time rehearsing in the classroom but a lot of time performing out and about in the community too. I am always looking for new projects, ideas and opportunities for my students to be successful in Music.
