We all know that music and the arts are key components to providing students with a well-rounded education, as well as increasing their intelligence and ability to learn. I teach general music, guitar and choir to students in grades 6-8. My county is very poor and geographically isolated, but we have a wonderful Appalachian culture and we love to play string instruments.
