The media center is a place where students can travel to different places, experience new things, become different people, and forget about their troubles. SMS is a small Title 1 suburban school located 25 miles outside of Atlanta with 80% of our students on free and reduced lunches. Our students have disadvantages that a lot of students do not have to face. We have a food and clothing pantry which ensures students have food to eat and clothes to wear. Our students are resilient and determined to show others their abilities
