Having iPads in my classroom will help my students in many ways. iPads will greatly enhance our reading and math centers! From skills based apps to books that are read to them, my students will have many opportunities to use technology to improve their reading and math skills. We will also use them is to create incredible e-portfolios of their work using writing, photos, and videos. When students watch themselves reading and working they can truly see their improvement throughout the year. They light up when they listen to themselves sharing projects and take great pride in the work they choose to add to the portfolios. Parents are amazed at what these incredible first graders are able to accomplish.
