I teach Kindergarten in a rural area outside of Flagstaff, AZ, a small mountain town. We are a Title 1 school with a high hispanic and native population. Many students have never been in a school setting and have difficulty sitting in a chair, at a desk or table for any period of time. Our Kindergarten team works hard planning fun, engaging lessons for our kinders to learn and excel. We pride ourselves on holding students accountable to reach and exceed our high academic and behavior standards.
