Our school has a lovely, welcoming library that is well-used by students and teachers alike. Sadly, the latest update was many years ago, and we have found that it is lacking books in the genres our students enjoy and at the levels of complexity they need. We need a library that supports the literacy goals of our teachers and builds a reading culture in our students. Contrary to popular belief, young people are reading, and they want good books! We have found that we are especially in need of books that will engage and encourage our average and advanced readers. Some requested books include Sylvia & Aki, Riding Freedom, Rules, Dancing Home, and The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. We appreciate a donation of any amount to help us toward our goal of building a magical library.
