My students are 9-10 years old that love to move and fidget. They are incredibly smart kids that have a lot of energy. I want to create an environment where it is okay for them to be able to get their wiggles out while still being engaged in the class and what we are learning about. I have students that have told me they would love to stay at their desk but they can't because they need to just move. With access to the different seating choices (especially the wobble chairs and stability balls) these students will still be able to move about while staying at their seat. I have tables that are raised so that if a student needs to stand they can but I would love to be able to give them more option so that they feel more comfortable in our room and are able to stay focused on what we are learning .
