My special education classroom is filled with amazing elementary learners with diverse academic, communication, sensory, social, and behavioral needs. My students may learn differently, but I believe every child can learn, grow, and shine when given the right opportunities and support. Our classroom is active, creative, and hands-on! We learn through movement, play, small-group instruction, technology, STEM, manipulatives, art, and meaningful learning experiences. I work to give my students multiple ways to learn while building confidence, independence, friendships, and life skills. We celebrate every success—reading a new word, solving a problem, communicating a need, following a routine, trying something difficult, or simply trying again. My goal is for every student to know they are valued, capable, and that there is no limit to how far they can grow. ☀️
