By providing my students with magna-tiles you give them the opportunity to be engineers and build castles, houses, and towers, letting their imagination come to life. The magnets are very strong, which allows for easy construction for all skill levels. Young children can participate and have success, while more experienced children can get extremely creative with their designs. Magna-tiles provide students will hands-on learning and creativity. Children are experimenting with two and three dimensional shapes, colors, and spatial reasoning. This tool can be used over and over with endless possibilities. Projects are creative, open-ended, and relates geometry to students' everyday lives.
