Photography plays an extremely important role in our everyday lives. From billboards to menus to magazines -- we see photos everywhere and behind each photo was a photographer. I want to show my students the power of photography and how it can and will change their lives, however they need cameras and gear. Access to DLSR cameras will allow my students to develop skills such as critical thinking, creativity, and problem solving, and these are all things that they will be able to carry with them their entire lives. Your donation will allow my students the opportunity to explore the rich depths of photography. They will learn about portraiture, food, sports, journalism, landscape and product photography, and will be able to experience first hand what it takes to create stunning, creative images. They will also learn that becoming a photographer is an enriching and exciting career choice. With your support my students will have the chance to become the photographers of tomorrow.
