The only thing more beautiful than a story is the way in which a story unifies its readers. The essays of E.B. White, Hamilton: The Revolution, the story of Malala, Batman, and the Selected poems of Langston Hughes are just a few of the titles, authors, and characters that make this classroom library list. The resources on this list have been carefully chosen to inspire students to see the familiarity in the unfamiliar and the similarities in distinction. Throughout the year, students will be given the opportunity to check these books out from our classroom library. Not only will students be able to immerse themselves in beautifully crafted writing, they will also respond to the pieces formally using a double-entry journal. Please help me create a classroom community and a community of leaders!
