I have some amazing students. They come from all different backgrounds and want to prove themselves all the time. Some of my students are from broken homes, live with other family members, or 1 parent. Even with what society would say the world is against them they work hard with everything we do. We work on our character traits daily. It is important to me for them to learn how to be kind to others because I want them to have someone be kind to them, too. Sometimes it seems our room is too small when all the students are here. There are 22 of them and 1 of me. We work with technology, reading books, practice writing, using manipulatives, and any way we can with our learning. We use what is available or what has been made for us to be successful in the classroom and society. One thing that makes our classroom the best is the laughter and learning that happens every day.
