My agriculture class is project based and several projects are developing at all times. My students need a set of Chromebooks in order to find useful information more easily and better learn in-depth materials. Over the past semester, I have begun to incorporate more student-used technology with my agriculture students. We have experimented with multiple platforms with the most success being computer based. Students enjoy the ability to work one-on-one and at their own pace. Chromebooks allow for individual and small group work and can be used with materials and equipment already in place. I am hoping to utilize Chromebooks in conjunction with our GPS Units to create maps of school campus, ongoning projects, and geocase sites. They can also be used for research, competition practice, and accelerated learning. These Chromebooks will be a great addition to our classroom.
Students will be able to access Google Classroom more easily and I can differentiate better to suite my 21st century students on their learning styles.
