Do you remember learning about Greek Gods and Goddesses? My students also need to learn about them. The Percy Jackson series helps my students connect to those mythological beings by bringing them close to the action with a hero that is close to their age and helps them engage with the text. Percy Jackson books were specifically requested by my students as a novel they would love to study. By using this engaging book, my students will be able to connect what they see and hear to main points and themes, and be able to use context clues that will help them in all of their future reading and learning.
