My degree is in film and digital media. Love teaching math. I use a lot of video creation, music, and graphic design to teach my students. Videos are a great way to teach students if it is tailored to them. Math videos and apps are known for being terrible and boring. Kids deserve better digital math content. With my film and digital media degree, I have the skills to create better videos and digital math content. With you the iPad I could use it for its superior editing software and drawing capabilities with the Apple Pencil. I would also use it for math screeners that only work on iPad and not the iPhone. The coloring features are great for designing math manipulatives and coloring activities. Ipad also has the power to create animations and great for coding. Also the students love to learn the process of creating ones own digital content and taking pride in it too. Which is vital in a technology driven & digital future. An iPad is the best platform that can deliver all these things and the kids deserve to learn to create on the iPad as well.
