I can't wait to start off our year in ELA reading "The Alchemist" together as a class. Help me achieve this by giving my students books for my 8th graders to learn about finding a purpose, following your dreams, and finding happiness in any situation. Together we will be reading about a boy who follows his dream so my students can do the same. We will spend our time reading together, discussing all the philosophies that can be found within this novel, and reflecting on how to bring these lessons into each of their lives and futures. My students, as their final project, will go on their own quest and journey to find their own purposes and happiness.

About my class
