My students need to be exposed to more project based learning. Project Based Learning is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging and complex question, problem, or challenge. My students read and think on a higher grade level so they need these laptops to conduct research. This will allow my students to gain knowledge on subjects that aren't discussed in our classroom based text. My students need to be exposed to more critical thinking text to build their skills. My students have a keen interest for many different things that are restricted due to the limited text that we use in class. These materials will allow them to be exposed to more complex subjects.
