I feel very fortunate not only because I teach 5th grade, but because I work with a group of 5th grade students that make me grateful to be their teacher. Everyday I go home and realize that not only are they learning from me, but I am discovering they are teaching me as well. We are in a school that is two years old, and although we are blessed with a new building, new furniture, and great technology, we are still without some of the basic resources that are necessary. With or without these things, I am still very lucky to be a teacher.

About my class
