These sensory support chairs will help meet the diverse needs of my special education students both academically and behaviorally. My special education students have both academic & behavioral challenges. I am a special education teacher in a K-3 building. This will be my eighteenth year as a teacher, and I am eager to use as many resources as possible to help my students reach their fullest potential! The students in my classroom come in with various sensory needs that could promote behavioral concerns if not addressed. Flexible seating will allow my students to be comfortable in the classroom, and help them to focus on their learning. In addition, this will help my students to concentrate on class work no matter their learning styles, behaviors, and preferences. Allowing students to choose how they do their work will help them to feel more at home in their classroom, while also maximizing their attention span and thought process. This will greatly benefit my students on IEPs. Please consider donating to maximize the learning potential of my students. Thank you.
