The flooring will help our students be safe when working out, reduce injuries, and will allow the students to show proper technique when working out. Right now the students are working out on tile and it is difficult for them to work out properly. When the students try to do core work they slip on the tiles and can't hold proper form. When they jump rope their knees hurt because of landing on the hard tile. When lifting dumbells, students are breaking tiles when putting them on the ground risking injury. Our students come from backgrounds where they do not have the means to pay to go to a gym, so the next best thing is working out in our school and they desperately need the flooring to help them meet their goals.
