Today’s classroom requires students to be actively engaged in what they are learning, while also requiring teachers to be continuously on the move. Having Apple TV in the classroom allows for BOTH of these things to happen on a daily basis. For students, iPad usage will be transformed into not only something they use to practice concepts and learn new things, but also as a tool for them to proudly SHOW what they know throughout the school year by mirroring their screens through the projector. For myself as the teacher, Apple TV will allow me to work with my students and display real world learning WITHOUT being tied to the front of the classroom. This allows for more mobility and individual feedback during lessons. With all this increased usage of technology, I have also included classroom speakers and an iPad keyboard to do interactive writing lessons and make class created books.
