The students that I serve have many talents despite their intellectual, language, and behavioral disabilities. My students come from low-income families and have Significant Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorder, Autism, and many students are English Language Learners. Although students are faced with many challenges, they have great attendance and come to school ready to learn! Our school is located in Central Los Angeles, California. The community around our school is very supportive, however, there is very little funding available for keeping up with the technological needs of the Special Education program.

About my class
