Our goal for our classroom is to provide the best environment we can for each student that comes through the door. As all educators know, not every student learns the same. We strive to embrace the multiple intelligences of our class by providing flexible spaces to engage in our best work. In our classroom community, we continuously talk about being accountable for our own learning which includes making choices that best fit our own learning style, and allow us to be successful. We believe these flexible seating options will allow our students to take their engagement, responsibility, and learning to the next level. These alternative seating options will also create a comfortable, community-like atmosphere for the many diverse learners in our class.
