Welcoming children into a lovely learning environment sets the tone of a nurturing and caring community. Lighting and color are important components to creating a calm and inviting space for learning. A "Peaceful Tropical Night" circle time rug will bring a calming effect to our community group time. Children diagnosed with Autism have difficulty with sensory overload issues including environments decorated with overstimulating colors. Using greens and blues along with neutral color themes has been shown to reduce stress in early learning environments. This inclusive carpet will improve our classroom during large group time and during our Daily Five independent learning time. This carpet is very inviting!
