I know a ladder sounds unexciting but it is quite the opposite. This is how the ladder will serve us: It is the only way we can get to the lights so we can move them and light the stage in specific spots. The lights are 16' up so the ladder needs to be super-safe and of the type that rolls, has locking wheels, and has handrails, so no one will lose their balance. We are in rehearsal for an improvised soap opera about which the students are on fire! However, without a ladder, we can't light the thing! The lack of a ladder is keeping us from making our productions REAL THEATRE.
