My students need a flexible, comfortable, and organized classroom to help them make choices that fit their many different personalities and learning styles. My students need change. Having flexible seating choices allows them to choose appropriate work space that fits the mood of the day. Many of my students need a self-chosen time out to get away from the noise and chaos in today's classrooms. The small tent that can be left open on one-side with a bean bag inside will offer a great space form some quiet self-reflection time. Because I am teaching two grades next year, the two-sided easel will help the kids and me stay organized by showing each grade what they are doing throughout the day.
