My class does not have a listening center. A place to sit and listening to a story while following along in the book will increase my students' comprehension and fluency. I look forward to having a place in the room for students to choose a story and listening device. I would like to have a well rounded classroom that also includes a place in the day for quiet listening and reading. My students will enjoy listening to the stories and following along with the text. Please give these 5 year olds a chance to curl up with a good book and fall in love with reading.
